pmsumner at 03:04pm on 29/10/2001Having not driven a car for a fair while, when my parents went away and left me on their insurance for a while, I rediscovered how damn good it feels to be driving along the new long and straight roads that there are round here, doing the straights at 90, taking the bends as fast as I felt safe. Yes, it's a wonderful feeling... a bit o'speed....
I've also found Doug again... they used to show Doug on Children's BBC, I think, but now it's on Nickelodeon every day, whoo! Doug is quite possibly one of the best cartoons meant for teenagers around, and has some of the best animation (simple animation, clean lines). The theme (and incidental) music is superb - along with "The Beets", a band that the producers have invented (based on the Beatles, it would appear) for the show.
(I've also found out that the Livejournal client doesn't support "Current Music" grabbing from Winamp 3, boo)
