Laura, for sending the fabulous card. Also to Luce, who gave me what could possibly be the best card in the whole wide world :)
Another couple of days away in Glasgow, went out for an Anti Valentine's Day meet yesterday - myself, Luce, Clare, Paul, David and Faith (Phil-99, luce100, clarabel, axis, misty and commlal) - had a nice time, but my sinuses played merry havoc with my head, and by about 10:30pm I couldn't hack it any more, and needed to get down to Tesco (Thanks be for 24hr shopping, eh?) to buy some Sudafed, which has little effect - but stopped me from wanting to beat my head against a brick wall :)
On Wednesday night/Thursday morning, I was round their place again - and went downstairs to Luce's at about 1am, we sat and listened to music until about three, whereupon Clare called down and said she was having trouble breathing - she's asthmatic - and could we go up and give a hand. Called up NHS Direct (sorta official government health help line) who talked to her for a while, listened to her breathing and said "Go to A&E". Oops. 3:30am, call a taxi and end up in Accident and Emergency...
