pmsumner at 12:34am on 08/04/2002Most of tonight putting CDs in the drive, pressing a button, and then taking them out. Occasionally there have been periods of me shouting at the computer as the CDDB lookups fail, and breaks to watch the Simpsons, but otherwise it's been dull.
I'm cataloging my CDs again - but this time I'm doing it with a commercial app - OK it's not "bought" but bought thanks to the wonders of the web - I can't afford it and even if I could, wouldn't. My old CD list was simply an HTML page, everything contained in a table. This should make it easier, and can also contain a hell of a lot more info than that ever did. Yup :)
So, I've done two rows of my tower. 8 more to go, and then my Discgear box. And then the singles in the carry cases. Oh joy. This'll take me months :)
