Take this example. My CV. I have a level 2 heading, followed by a paragraph break, followed by a section break, so I can split the "Technical Knowledge" section into 2 columns, so that it takes up less space. At the end of the list, there is a "section break (next page)", because at the time I wrote it, I needed the stuff after to go on the next page.
I now wish to delete the section break (next page) and replace it with a continuous break. The question is, why can't I delete it? Or more to the point, I can put the cursor in front of it, or behind it, and press delete or backspace as appropriate, and it simply moves. *grr* It takes the place of the continuous section break andf the continuous break disappears. Try again? Feh, I tried to get rid of it and it simply messes up the entire document.
Problem is that StarOffice is not actually much better...
