graahhhh
Woulda been nice to have had some notice when the address that comment notification emails get sent to got changed so that I could have changed my mail filters accordingly BEFORE filling up my inbox with over 30 mails that would normally be syphoned away.

(Actually, I am genuinely annoyed that they changed it without warning, but can't be arsed to argue seeing as it's now done)

Learn more, find this, do that. Some systems that don't make sense, some that do. We did a mini test thingie, where we had to find information on Merlin and Excalibur (Merlin is web based intranet which is our bible, Excalibur is CSM Software (Customer Services Management) where we actually make changes). It got to the point where I was trying my hardest not to find stuff because I was getting to it first 3/4 of the time. but Kellie was watching me and told me not to do that, feh.

I'm trying to stay sane, honest guv'.

I can't wait for the weekend, in a way. As much as I believe weekends are "just another day" (I'm jaded from spending so long working weekends in the service industry), it's time off, and I'm going to spend some time on the car, repairing some fairly extensive rust damage (well, let's just say that you can poke through it with a key) around the filler cap, and trying to figure out why this damned CD autochanger is deciding to throw a hissy fit at random, stop playing CDs and then switch back to the radio.

Actually, my weekend thing is a very good point. Do you lot value the weekend as it stands (Sat/Sun) or would you rather change your personal weekend to something else? I find it frustrating that come the weekend I can't actually do some important things that I need to. For example - talking to the bank. Mon-Fri, 0930->1630. Bank is a half-hour's drive off, I can't make it there and back in my lunch hour.

I detest the fact that I am one of the masses when I HAVE to go out and do my shopping on a Saturday. I don't dislike crowds, as such, but they make the shopping experience that much less enjoyable. The best time to go shopping? 10am on a Friday morning - Glasgow's dead, and it's fantastic. I guess I also dislike the feeling that I'm now one of the millions of 9-5'ers, and not any more one of the minorities (Nocturnal good, diurnal bad).

Must see if I can drag some people out for a drink on weekend afternoon. Either from work or otherwise. Suggest it tommorrow and see what gives, considering I missed friday night's piss-up thanks to my car/immobiliser problem. Grrr.
