I'm seriously considering upping and moving house. ASAP. I'm currently trying to decide not IF I should do it, but WHERE.

I'm fairly certain I have to do this. Not because of my job situation, but because currently I am so far away from everybody and everything I know. Nothing is close by. My nearest bank is a 3/4hr journey away. At least if I were to go down south, things could only get better.

My choices right now are Southampton, Nottingham and London. I ruled out Manchester (as much as I would like to go and be with my friends again) because I don't believe there's a viable career path starting from there. London is looking unlikely, due to the cost of the place - I mean I really don't want to have to work all hours just to be able to live there. I want to have fun. Nottingham is unlikely, but still a possibility - I just don't know anything about the place, ya know?

I'm still only in the planning stages. I want to talk to my parents about this, and I want to do it soon, within the next 2-3 weeks. I'm just seriously pissed about living where I am - at home. *growls* Though any advice would be welcomed.

I read something on the train in 'Maya' that made me snort out loud, and I thought to myself "Damn, I have to remember that so I can stick it in my journals". Now I've just spent 20 minutes reading through the damn chapters I musta read on the train and can I find it again? Can I HELL!!! *argh*

It was really funny too. It really was!

My dad's banging round the garage, tidying everything he possibly can. Hopefully throwing out some of the crap that he's been carting round with him for the last 20 years! I feel bad for being in here, but I wouldn't be much use to him - if he needs help, he'll ask. I hope.

I seem to have been talking to some random people lately on AIM. I never used it in the past, mainly because with AOL dialup you have to have the window open to use IM, and I don't like having the AOL window maximised. Anyhow - yeah, I've definitely had (and made) lots of IMs to purely random peeps.

Not that this is a bad thing, ofc.

One good thing is, that Brad (General admin of LJ) has suspended creation of new accounts (YAY!). Hopefully this will allow things to settle down until they manage to do some code re-writing and get even more new hardware. It's such a superb service that LJ provides I wouldn't ever want to see it die - though there is a possibility that it will do when Brad finishes with his University course.
