... if your JSA cannot be paid under the normal rules for any of the following reasons:

  • you are not available for work
  • you are not actively seeking work
  • you do not have a Jobseeker's Agreement
  • you unreasonably make yourself unemployed. For example, you leave your job voluntarily without good reason, you lose a job because of misconduct or you turn down a job offer

I fit into one of those categories... I left my job. I left because I was fed up and depressed and exhausted and the hours just... just..... *sighs* Only problem with this being that I don't have any proof of this, nothing. All I have is "my word". I just have to hope that the Commodore were nice to me in their standardised form...

Interesting. Can't quite see it yet, but it's proved to work for at least one song - They Might Be Giants and "Boss of Me" (Commonly known as the theme to Malcolm in the Middle). Also now downloading "88 Lines About 44 Women" by the same.

It's an interesting way of working when you compare it to Napster and it's clones.

Grr, I can't get ITV Digital's broadcast of BBC 1 or 2, thanks to the crappy reception we get here. Consequently I don't get the online program guide, and don't buy a TV Guide. I just turned over to watch the 1 o'clock news to find a 20 minute long program on them moving the Queen Mother's coffin from Wnidsor to St James' Palace.

I don't understand why they had to televise this. I'm guessing a 5 minute piece in the news wouldn't have sufficed, eh?

"Why?", you may very well be asking right now. And to you I respond - my head is sorted. Well, kinda :)

For a while I've been in a kind of limbo state. A state where I couldn't decide whether it was worth going on, but also a state where I knew plainly that was a stupid question to make or even consider. A state where I couldn't quite get my head round this life that I'm living, being stuck where I am.

Today, I woke up. I woke up and my head was clear at last. It's almost like my head clicked. It's almost like... well, to cut a long story short - not to say it's not already long - I have a completely and utterly clear conscience, I have no troubles, and it doesn't matter, life will go on much as it did before.

Yay for my head!

One of them was being at the bank. I learnt today why you don't go visit the bank at 4pm on a Tuesday after a bank holiday. They were queuing out the door. Unfortunately I needed to pay towards my Barclaycard bill before tommorrow to be certain of it getting there on time. Nearly a half-hour I spent queuing. All for £15 towards my credit card.

And the second, was travelling. While travelling I was keeping an eye out for nice photos. I timed the trip so that I could try and get some nice sunset shots over the Erskine Bridge - it's quite a spectacular view from Old Kilpatrick and even as far as Bowling - but I was scuppered by the damn time change. *growls* Whose idea was it to put the clocks forward, anyhow?
