My arse. With over 300megs of physical, and a coupla hundred of virtual RAM? I'd be very surprised.

Best reboot, Windows XP / ActivePerl / cmd.exe seem to have gone into a Tizz. Hrmph. And it was all going so well!

What strikes me most, however, is that I have actually been feeling like this for a while now. After having been at the computer for a period of time I'll normally get the sore eyes and mild temple headache. Except I always attributed it to something else.

I actually can't wait to get them now because I really want to see what a difference they make. Hopefully it'll be positive.

I am fed up with having to be online to test my client (which is the only project I have so far), so decided that I'd get IIS running on my machine so that I could try my hand at some CGI script development. And after much soul-searching I eventually found the right options, though my lord was it a pain in the butt. Why can't MS Help Files just say "do this, do that" rather than "well... we'll tell you what to do - but not how to do it". Grr.

Muhahahahaaa.

In other non-geeky news, I'm going out with Laura tonight. Just for a few drinks, I think. I'm too poor to be able to go out to the Cathouse. Meeting at 8 in the Solid Rock Cafe, best not forget or I'm dead meat! lol. Be nice to see her. Uhhm, off to Makro in a while. Dad's off to San Diego for a week - bastard. He's doing something exciting and work-related over there. Flying business class too, scum! Mind you, on a 11-12hr flight, I'm not surprised.

I have glasses. I have them on right now, but I can't seem to figure it out. I can no longer keep my head straight and move my eyes down to look at the keyboard - I have to move my entire head. Writing appears much larger in general, so I guess that can only be a good thing.
