I leave you for less than 24hrs, and you do this to me? You make me read 3 pages of entries? I hate you all *g*

Actually I didn't read it all anyhow, because I had my dad hovering around.
So if I missed any earth shattering announcements, my apologies!

DVD drive + DVD + DeCSS (or one of its many variants) - hours of fun. Well it would be, but I can't be arsed to wait. I bought Starship Troopers on DVD because it's a fun film and dirt cheap.

Bank - money deposited, CV will be in the post tommorrow for the cashier position. Not fun, but it's dealing with lots of money that I can drool over. So beware if you bank with Barclays :) I had a call from T-Mobile (One-2-One) replying to a call I made to them for a call centre job in Greenock. Ick. Can't travel that from here, would have to move to Glasgow. Would be happy with that! :-)

Nutty Professor is on now. Crap film but it's got me half-glued, because it's the only thing worth so much as looking at. Ho Hum. *runs off to check the Radio Times website*

When I was in town looking round the bank I decided I needed to go look round Borders geek-book section again. I decided that I needed to buy the C++/MFC book that I had been drooling over the previous few weeks. I'd saved as much money as I could the previous month, because I knew that I wanted to buy one, so knew I'd be able to afford it.

Then when mum got home, she gave me an envelope with £30 in it from Anne - who owns the nursery where I was working at the other day. Whooo. That paid for the book nicely, leaving me with more money for this month than I know what to do with (relatively speaking, ofc)

I also realised today that thanks to my dad taking leave, and the bank holiday on Monday, I'd got completely confused and missed my signing on day. D'oh. Wandered down to the job centre and they were good about it, seeing as I haven't been doing it that long and it was the first time ever. Phew.

Ohhh this looks fab - Tuesday at 9 on BBC 2. Someone remind me. The Experiment - someone has been allowed (after many many years) to recreate the Stanford Prison Experiment. To my knowledge this is the first recreation to have been allowed past ethics comittees since the original.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, let me know somehow (leave a comment/AIM/ICQ) and I'll explain it. It's a fascinating psychological experiment. And it's not my normal "fascinating" where it's only me and engineers who are interested - this is a quite wonderful look into human behaviour under extraordinary conditions.
