When did I last update? (Familiar question)

Yesterday (Saturday). It was a glorious day, and I was planning on going out and visiting some estate agents to investigate house prices in Clydebank and Dumbarton, but my dad screwed those plans up by deciding he was going to fill in the gap around my petrol filler. Hence not being able to take my car out. Argh. So I spent it trying to track down the thing stopping my heated rear windscreen working. Eventually tracked it down to the fuse box. After spending an hour taking it apart and being paranoid, thinking it would be something fixable... now I need to hunt for a new fusebox. Grrrr.

Today. Today was a total contrast. Sun? Where... hasn't stopped raining. Went to Glasgow, Clydebank as well. Bought shoes. Bought replacement razor blades for my Philishave. Made sure tyres were correctly inflated. Went for walk. Tried to call people but everyone out. Wanna get drunk, but dad's home....

Speaking of which. My grandad's in hospital. Nothing serious I think - the replacement hip he had a while back needs to come out. He was on morphine a short time, which made him go slightly doo-laaaa-ly. My mum's down in Fareham with him, Dad's off to Bristol for 6 months on Tuesday night. I'm going to mad if I have to spend much more time with him. Glad I'm at work all day tmrw, though I ain't looking forward to being up at 0600 again.

I'm starting saving from next month or so. I am going to investigate some notice/savings accounts and stick away £30-50 a month (or thereabouts). Pay for a holiday after a few months. *shrugs* Of course, this all assumes that nothing happens with the housing situation, when all my carefully worked finances will go mad.
