I had an assessment for a DFL (Data Front Line) position at work the other day. Not too tricky. Only qurestions I struggled with were ones on the (theoretical) max speed of GPRS/UMTS. I got an interview from it, whoo. So... Ronnie said to me that there were 6 people going for interviews, and.................. 6 positions! YEEEHA!

This means I am almost guaranteed the job, And a hefty pay rise. From £11,700 to somewhere in the region of £16,000 *bounces round madly* I am so easily pleased, eh?

I get my cable modem installed tommorrow. Thanks be. Now I can download SuSE and install it on that spare partition, at long last. And download everything, superfast... *vrrrrooooooooooooooooooooooooom*
