I've got an LJ server working on my home PC. Kindof :)
It doesn't work properly, but I can create journals, entries, edit entries, administer the site... everything. Yay.

Only thing being that I haven't got the whole language thing working yet, and all the text shows up as "?lang?". Hmm, I don't know how to fix that.

I won an auction for a hoover, yay! I need this hoover,my existing one sucks badly - and that is no pun either. It cost me all of £29.99, will have to pay the dude when my Amazon money comes through. Hope they're understanding.

Need to get to post office, talking of Amazon. 'nother book to post, and a CD to post to Rach, I forgot about that. It's under the passenger seat in my car.

Tidied lots, my bedroom and living room are now at least, well... the majority of them are tidy. Kitchen next, should be easy - it's small. After that do I have to start again at the living room? :)

I missed my 2year birthday.

Main reason I'm looking at this is because I've been doing some friends-page-surfing, seeing who is on whose friends list, who I know and who I might be interested in reading. I found lots, and I mean LOTS... of Mono spods' journals that I didn't know existed.

I'm not upset or anything like I originally thought I would be. Surprised. I fled from Mono a year or so back, forgot about most of the folk there, and this has damn well reminded me about how fantastic some of them were (also about some of the morons, but that's not the point here).

Anyways.

I need to go to the post office. Yes I do. Hoping that my meagre amount of cash is OK to post this parcel, or whether I should just do it with first class stamps - sod the price difference. I was all budgeted up for this month - Amazon originally told me I could transfer the money they owed me on the 6th, but when it came to it, only let me intiate the transfer today, and then told me it could be up to 10 working days for it to complete. This means right now, I have no cash. Poo. Only 15/18 (depending whether we get paid on 24th like we should, or whether we get paid on Friday beforehand) days until payday :)

I keep on going on about this, but "fantastic news everybody!". My quality score before I left for holiday for this month was something like 96.25%, meaning that as far as I am concerned, I am guaranteed a move to not just to being a Level 2 CSA, but to Level 3! YAY! This means basic wage increases from £6 an hour to £8.33 or so (if my calculations are correct), which means an extra £350/mo wages. Also means overtime pay increases, time and a half on the new wage... still pitiful for a graduate :) (Average grad wage is approximately £20k a year after graduation.)

*sighs happily*

I need to find out the specifics from Ronnie when I go back next week, but as far as I can tell, this new wage starts in April (April 24th/30th - think April is when they're moving the pay date).

Post office! Now! :)
