I decided that instead of sitting and watching my newfound plethora of TV channels (I got cable TV put in properly today, decided that I could afford it as it's very little extra a month on top of the phone and internet access), I would go shopping. I needed a few things. Cotton buds, for one. Decided to go to Asda at Linwood as I really like driving and you know, Tesco isn't much of a drive :)
On the way back from Asda. Wowee. As you come down the M8, just after the Erskine Bridge, there is a fairly sharpish left turn towards the West, taking you parallel with the Clyde. There is the most stunning view there most of the time, because all you see is river in the foreground, and the hills in the bacground. Today, though. It was burning red and gold in the sky, the river reflecting the colours in the clouds and the hills silhouetted against it all. Lovely. And me without my camera.
I've been out a couple of times this week after work with folk, as a celebration of having money. Spent far too much time in pubs, though this is a good thing. Better than being in the house. And because I was drinking some random organic beer last night, it wasn't full of icky hangover-making chemicals. I really need to train my body not to wake me up at 5am, gasping for water. It's the same every time I go drinking - 5am comes and I wake up feeling like shite. Guzzle down as much water as possible then fall back asleep for 3hrs.
I had a yummy omlette for tea (again), loaded with chilli :) So easy to please.
Running out of anything to say, never mind interesting things!
