I've been paranoid over the past week or so about my money. I'm certain that something is due to go out my account which I have forgotten about, but I know for a 100% certain fact thing that there is only one regular payment goes out of my account after the 10th of the month. I _think_ I've got around £30 worth of groceries that haven't cleared, but that's it. Innit? That leaves me with £60 more than I thought I had. That's quite creepy. Does that mean I've been getting all stressed for nothing?

Or does that mean I really have missed something?

I've got things and people I could pay that I owe, like Andrew (for the RaQ space) and [livejournal.com profile] kundrun for the other weekend, but I'm really really paranoid now. Better be safe now than sorry later. Ain't I?

Of course, when talking in money terms, one must always remember that when I say "more money" I actually mean "less debt than before" :)

I've also decided that I need a decent coffee table. I want my parents' one, or one similar to it - it's a map table with the glass top and a top drawer which you can see in to, it's either pine or beech, and would probably fit quite well in here. s'gotta be better than the heap o'crap I have now! Am gonna take a peek round some second hand furniture shops and see if there's anything nice. If not, I'll wait for a burfday and ask for one as a pressie or something :) My birthday presents have been so boring lately, but they're all my choices.

I am really annoyed by this TV show. I thought it'd be quite interesting, a hypothetical look at what would happen if there were simultaneous strikes on the rail and tube services, and other events which caused total gridlock on the roads.

I'm really annoyed. I haven't heard one mention of Glasgow, only one mention of Edinburgh, and that centred on Waverly station for 10 seconds or so. North of the border? Nothing! FEH! When will the BBC et al get the message - the UK does not stop at Watford.

I can't do earlies. No way. Please don't make me start at 0725. PLEASE!
Even people who work a "normal" day will be finished before me.

Random question: I'd love to know what percentage of T-Mobile's userbase is suspended at any one time.

Went to see X-Men 2 today, was very annoyed by the fact thart I allowed 2 and a half hours for the whole experience, from film starting until i had to leave for work (overtime) at 7pm. I arrived at 3:45pm, film (sorry, the experience) started at 4pm, the film was still running at 6:20pm. I left before it finished. Not happy that there was nearly a half hour of advertisements and previews. The film went really well up to the point where I left. Enjoyable. Much fun.
