I've been looking round for jobs and making enquiries for positions in the Northwest of England, but I think I've had an idea. I can take the easy option. Well, tehnically it's not really an easy option, it's a very sensible and well thought out option.

That website will show you the internal jobs available in T-Mobile (UK) and some international positions too. Search for "Location = Dearne Valley". There's a few available - starting from CSAs (what I do now) and moving on to Call Routing Analysts and Quality Co-Ordinators.
Now my train of thought - why should I bugger about looking for jobs in a completely new sector when I can almost guarantee myself a position in Dearne Valley, same wage, same perks and so on? It's an intriguing idea. From there, if I needed, I could carry on looking for new employment, but more locally! Dearne is in Rotherham, which although not ideal, is a HELL of a lot closer than Glasgow. It's a drivable distance to both Bolton and Manchester according to the AA's website / route planner.
What do you think?
I think it's perfect for me.
Though, as always - it's not the only option, just "a good one". And besides, there's always the chance I won't get a position there, so I'm not giving up elsewhere.
