Installing that nVidia X11 driver is painless... The SuSE site has a great readme on it, and they seem to know pretty well how it all fits together.

I got some _great_ news today - not sure if I'm glad or not that I was told or not. I think it would have been fun to leave work at 5:30 on Wednesday to find an unexpected Daisy waiting outside. This is really great as it's now only 7 days to wait :)

My throat feels really dry and sore tonight, I don't know if it's dehydration or coming down with something. Been drinking lots hoping that it doesn't get any worse, however not being able to speak would be a damn good reason to get off work on Friday :) Not sure there's anything I could do in there without speaking! Wonder how easy it is to fake a throat infection? *G*

Also got some more good news tonight - ruthytoothy and albatros are coming up on Saturday. Hooray. This does mean that I'm gonna need to tidy up these random piles of clothes in various rooms, and at least attempt to keep the kitchen in it's current spotless state :)

It's part hangover, part bad sleep, part laziness and part potential illness, I think. Ouch.

I haven't heard anything from Ruthy and John, so I assume they'll be staying at one of many Glasgow Airport hotels tonight. It's almost a shame if they are - but it's always nice to have somewhere of and on your own, even if it is just for one night.

I had an urge tonight. A really deep and dark urge - for pizza.

I don't know why, wherefrom, or wherefore or whatever the urge meant, so I went out and got it. I shoulda watched what the guy did with it. I thought I'd cleared it up when I asked for a "Mexican" and he said "Ham and Pineapple" - no. I said to him "no, chilli, onions and tomatoes". I now have a pizza in my kitchen with Ham, Pineapple, Chillis, Onions and Tomatoes.

It's.... Interesting.

I'm really buzzing at the moment. I can't wait for the rest of the month to come. On so many levels.

Anyone fancy playing with my gallery too, while you're there? I came to the conclusion that I need to do something with the RaQ space I have, other than host pics there. What with the cable, and a stable server, I decided to run a gallery locally. It works... I'm just a little stuck with uploading multiple pics. One at a time is painful.
