Today started off badly. My alarm clock went off. I hit it and went back to sleep until it went off again. I hit it and went back to sleep.
Then I woke up again with 20minutes to get ready and into work. Blech.I don't care about the travel time, but I _really_ needed some time to wake up this morning.
Work (training - 9-5, hurrah!) was boring enough to be boring, with just enough to do to be busy. Instead of lecturing us, they've given groups of us all the information we need and are getting us to do presentations on it to the rest of the group. Quite sensible in many ways. A half-hour presentation. So there's been lots of writing and powerpointing.
Got home about 5 to find my key bent! Argh. I don't know exactly what happened, but my thighs of steel have bent it to a 90 degree angle. Straightened it out but it was just too bent to open the door. *grr* I've never had the joy of rush-hour traffic before, with the hours I normally work - what is normally a 2 min drive to the agency turned into a 20 min grouch, me with somewhere to go and all.
Devestating blow combined with great news yesterday. Jane was planning on coming up here on Wednesday night. Damn Manchester Council offered her an interview on Thursday morning. *grumps and jumps for joy both at the same time*. I don't want to have to wait any longer!
*looks happy at the thought of the end of the week aproaching*
