Cheesey music. Gotta love it.
Just moved to Air Supply - Even The Nights are Better
I've experimented with QT some more, no joy. Will play tomorrow. I've cooked a whole batch of chicken, been shopping for more veggies, lasagne pasta so will have next week's food all planned out. Chicken soup, sandwiches and curry, interspersed with lasagne, and salami sandwiches :)
This is all part of my "reducing expenditure on food" drive. I worked out from GNUCash last month that I spent somewhere in the region of £200 on food (well, lots of that was at the supermarket which is mostly food) both at the supermarket and at work. Scary. There's no need for it. And I thought I was fairly sensible last month. I didn't go binge shopping :)
Was fiddling about with MovableType earlier. I've seen it being used on plenty of websites for people's blogs and was thinking it may be a more elegant solution than LJ - more customisable and flexible. But in the end it's too late and I am too tired to figure it out properly. Besides - what do I use LJ for other than posting and reading? MT would also give me the additional headache of backups, whereas I know that my entries on LJ are _fairly_ safe :)
And so, "... to sleep, perchance to dream, ay there's the rub ..."
I can't help finding that whole stanza particularly appealing.
