It feels like a while since I've updated here properly. I know it's not, and only last night, but I can't shake this feeling that I have forgotten to do this for ages.

I've done turkey stir-fry with the ingredients being turkey, fry, and chilli sauce. Yes. Lazy. Who cares, it filled a nice gap. Tonight I must cook rice and take curry to work for breakfast/lunch/whatever.

I'm off down to Bolton on Thursday, I am trying to get a half-shift else I leave here at 8:30 in the evening. I don't mind but ya know - I'd much rather get there earlier and have more time.

I'm all excited.

Work at TDMS is turning out much nicer than anything previous. It's such a nice feeling of success to get something working when you've been working on it for ages. And people are so much more appreciative ;) Both CSAs and customers. It's so pleasant! :)

I'm doing so well with my nails. I'm trying to stop biting them. Seriously this time. I've now got a few fingers which I can claim to have nails on now, rather than blunt bits of hard stuff.

Blah.

Not that I am one to gloat, especially so early on in a game of Scrabble, but lookie lookie at how badly I am kicking [livejournal.com profile] nakedsockpuppet's arse!

*grins cheekliy in her general direction*

I got so lucky with my first set of tiles - S O W E T S *(blank) makes SLOWEST so nicely. 70 points on yer first move!

I think I am going to become addicted to this game online. Saying that, I haven't played Settlers of Catan for ages and I used to spend hours on there!

First best friend: I don't remember ever having a best friend. I remember some friends but we moved round lots when I was a kid. Even moving across town is enough to kill a friendship in it's early years.

First real memory of something: I don't remember anything before 5 or 6. I was kicked into the garden to amuse myself and I decided I would bring my mum something pretty - so I picked the daffodils :)

First car: You mean current car? Rover Metro 1.1i, now on it's 3rd fuse-box by all accounts. Not that I've actually checked the work that the garage did on it yet, I don't trust them one inch ;) Anywho... fab ickle car. Runs like a dream. Costs virtually nothing. Most of the time.

First date: Sadly enough, my first real date only came a few weeks ago. I never did the dating thing at school or at uni. I've always been more of a "let's be friends" kinda guy rather than "let's go on a date" kinda geezah.

First real kiss: Danielle. 14, behind the black shed :)

First break-up: Uhhm... Kate. Long distance relationship dragged out for longer than it should have been - nasty and painful and icky for me but ultimately the best thing.

First job: Working for the Student Association, mostly bar work but a little light labour too.

First screen name: phil-99@geocities.com - or to be technical I actually started out online with my dad's MSN username - mike_d_sumner... we're both so imaginative!

First self purchased album: No idea at all. Bought way too many.

First pets: Only pet I ever had was a goldfish I won at a fairground. it died and got flushed.

First piercing/tattoo: 18, Bay City, MI. Drinking one night, Danielle (another one) suggested it and I was too drunk to say no. She held me to it. I still get caught by surprise if I see it in the corner of my eye sometimes.

First credit card: Barclaycard Student Visa, 18yrs old and Barclaycard give me £750 to play around with. Bad start.

First true love: Tricky one, but I'd say probably Kate.

First enemy: I've never ever ever had an enemy. I've had people I dislike and that I don't get on with and avoid and so on, but never actively had an enemy, or nemesis...

First big trip: Washington DC, I was 13 or so. My dad was working there for a month and my mum and I went to visit for 2 weeks. Best two weeks of my life, up until he got a job in Florida for 3mths the year after, and we went to visit him there. That was the best 2 weeks of my life :)

First play/musical/performance: First I remember clearly is Phantom of the Opera, at the Edinburgh Playhouse or whatever it's called. I think we went to see A Midsummer Night's Dream in Blackpool from School at one point, though I don't remember the play, just the amusement arcades ;)

First musician you remember hearing in your house: I don't, my dad was Radio 4 man and I didn't pay attention to the radio or music very much...
