Mobile phone started ringing inside coffin

Mourners at a chapel of rest in Belgium were shocked when a mobile phone started ringing inside the coffin.

In money news, I've been to the bank and they can't find the damn cheque. I got a phone call at about 5pm saying that they've had to "send away" and that they will get back to me on Thursday. I explained that this is not good enough and I need money now. The dude said he would call me back tomorrow between 9/10am and see what could be done.

We shall see, eh?

I just sent my dad a £5 Webflix coupon, ain't I nice? :)

Today I went out with my mum and sproogled round Ikea after going to the bank. I was just going to go and do lunch but we wandered around. My mum bought me towels and a mattress protector thingie for the bed I am getting from them :) She's a silly lady.

Then she bought me coffee!

I'm a little unhappy about the whole money thing - I would suck it up and understand if it was my own fault, but damnit! *sulks* I have things I need to do, like posting off ebay purchases and paying Glenn's after they cancelled my direct debit wrongly.

I really fancy pizza. All I'm stuck with is soup - not that soup is bad but I REALLY want a barbecue pizza.

Really Want Pizza

Whilst walking to the bank I noticed these offices in a building on St Vincent St, it's been extensively remodelled in the last few years (123 St Vincent St) and it looks very flash and cool and fab and all that. Then I noticed the advertising in the background and only then realised it was 3's office.

3 have a call centre in Glasgow. We've (T-Mobile) got an ex-3 person in our Technical Help Desk, apparently working for them is (was?) really difficult because they don't have the tools they need to fix problems. We can fix stuff, they couldn't, apparently.

I'm considering my next upgrade, speaking of mobiles. My Nokia 7650 is fantastic and does everything I need from a phone, but it's looking a little worn and some of the buttons are being arsey (I press it once, it things I pressed it twice which makes texting difficult). I like the look of the Sony Ericsson Z600 (more links here).

The Nokia 7600 is another choice. WCDMA compatible (3G), cool shaped and just funky :)

Godknows what else. There's too many groovy phones around.
