I woke up in the end :)
Yesterday I woke late, I had grand plans for the morning but none of them could happen, as I had just about enough time to get dressed, find stuff for work and jump in the car.
This morning was much nicer. Well I guess I should start from last night! Got a message from
pipsytip saying she was going to head to mine after I finished work, so I had an extraordinary surprise when I got in the door! She stayed over (stealing my spod connection!) and this morning I was awoken by a
pipsytip's hugs, which is probably the best way ever to wake up.
I didn't say anything last night, but I received a nasty letter from Inverclyde Council last night - a Summary Warrant (or something like that) demanding payment of the remaining financial year's council tax. I was most displeased, not living there any more... ya understand? Called them up and spoke to a nice bloke who told me to forget about it and he'd sort it out. So I have.
I was also pleasantly surprised when I checked my online banking to find that despite going over my o/d limit by a small margin this month, they haven't charged me. Superb. I explain how that happened very easily - moving is expensive. I've spent around £80 at B&Q and Focus Do It All, and I've forked out approx £80 on prepay gas and electricity which wasn't expected.
Oo, speaking of which, Scottish Power still haven't sent me the 2nd cheque that they owe me. Only £20 or so but still. It's MINE! *gets on the blower*
Work in a bit... they'd best be quick!
