I woke up late again this morning but I feel rough as hell. My throat is sore and I don't want to contemplate talking with it all day long. I probably could do it but really, ick. So I'm off on da sick.

Only problem is that I know I am gonna get booted up the bum for not following procedure. Problem? I tried to follow procedure but I don't know who to call, despite asking several people over the past week.

Guess I should use it to do stuff then. Go to bank, deposit a cheque, go to B&Q and buy some sealant for the bath, get a chisel or similar to remove the existing sealant from the bath. I've temporarily sealed it with gaffer tape ;) Best buy another bit o' stuff for David and a present for Jane's folks.

Just hope nobody asks me to talk.

I signed up with Blockbuster tonight, and got it out. I've still only seen it the once at the cinema, late at night, and I seriously didn't get it. Having such a long sequence making sense of it all, it just didn't work. So now we shall see whether it still makes my head go dizzy.

There are loads of scenes which I think should be cut. The Neo/Trinity sex scene should go completely, the gathering/dance scene should be half the length. I'm sure there's much more to come...

I was just wondering how many films had the word "Matrix" in the title and searched IMDb, was surprised to find that there was a TV cartoon series called "Matrix" back in 1993. Anyone seen it, know where you can get it? Sounds intriguing.

Ahh how could I forget? The Agent Smith fight scene... full of what is frankly rather pants CGI. They do so well until they start using that stupid time freeze effect so often that filming it for real would have proved impossible.

Eh, I'd best figure out how I am getting to David's.

And still don't get it.
