Is it just me that finds that funny?

Not much apart from JANE!

She popped over Friday night, hugged me muchly. We ate, we drank, and we went to bed early. Friday night and we were both asleep around midnight. Fah :)

Saturday we went to DFS Sofas to look around at Sofas for me. I need one desperately, as I only have seperate chairs, no snuggling ability there you see. I'm having some problems deciding what I want to get. I can get some really nice sofas quite cheaply from DFS. They've got some in their sale which caught my eye. However I can get one even cheaper from Ikea! :)

A bed would be useful 'cuz I only have a _tiny_ spare room. But I rarely have people over and stuff anyway, so will it get the use needed to justify it's extra expense?

It's all I've been talking about, it's bugging me. It's a big expense so I wanna get it right. Blergle.

Come Saturday afternoon Jane drove me and her to Derby, without getting lost once, whoohoo. Saw Lambert, met his house-people, his girlie, his friends, drank _way_ too much (between Jane and me we drank a bottle of mead, plus whatever we had individually), tried to watch "This is Spinal Tap" but someone turned the light out and it was impossible to stay awake. There was much talking and silliness and fun and niceness inbetween all this.

Slept.
Woke up, feeling OK.
Went downstairs, hangover kicked in.
Ouch.
Tried to watch Eddie Izzard but can't remember any of it. Sun shone in my eyes. Ouch. Lambert cooked a wicked breakfast. Wonder if I can hire him to do that more often...

Great night. Must do it again. Without the hangover.
