I'm not sure what to do...
I was poking around in Barnsley yesterday whilst trying to spend my money (unsuccessfully - more later), and found Factory Shack. This is a shop which sells stuff like white goods on the cheap. They have a tabletop freezer going for under £100, which is the cheapest I have found. Can't decide whether to buy it or not. I am getting by without a freezer but I don't like it.

The other option is to save money, and when I go back to Scotland next, take the washer-drier that I am renting from Glenn's and stop spending £30/mo on that.

Decisions decisions.

On the spending money front? I couldn't spend a Scottish £5 note in Barnsley. Nobody would take it. Gah!

I've had such a good day!

First off, collected an airbed mattress thingie from Argos which I'd reserved on their website last night. Dropped off a few letters to be returned to sender for Ms T Grice, called up some debt collectors after her too and let them know she wasn't here any more.

Then the real work began. Since I moved in here I've been really unhappy with the state of the garden. It's filled with litter, old building materials (there's a chimney pot!), bits of wood and annoyingly enough, loads of glass from when the contractors were here doing the double glazing. So I cleared it up. The garden is now litter free. Looks almost good enough to sit in. All I need to do now, is get hold of a spade, turn the soil over and get some grass to sow. It's small enough I can do it manually, without a rotivator (even though those things are _fun_).

I then put up curtains upstairs, moved the roman blind from the bedroom to the kitchen, and cut the curtains to length. They haven't been hemmed because I don't have an iron to use the WundaWeb supplied. However it all looks so much better.

Huzzah for nice sunny days which make you feel like doing stuff!

I have a 2nd interview with PlusNet! The only difficulty being that I don't have any time off work until Tuesday and I don't have any serious amount of holiday left to take!

I feel like I'm being difficult, which is never a good thing. Have asked them to re-arrange for another week. Problem there is that I'm on lates next week, Mon-Fri!

PITA, this working lark.
