I awoke on the 29th with a stinking throat, which meant I was struggling to talk a little bit. This was soothed slightly by resting it and enjoying many cups of tea. However, on the 30th and 31st this gradually deteriorated into Phil feeling like utter crap, head feeling (nicked from ellipse)

"like its going to explode - or implode - whichever one is worse. Maybe both at the same time - kinda like the atomic bomb."

Oh well... at least the throat isn't sore any more.

I can't sleep, I can't stay awake, I go to bed and lie there fidgeting restlessly trying to get comfortable. When I'm awake I feel like I'm not going to make it through the next minute, and wishing I could rip out my sinuses. Sudafed Max Strength has been my miracle cure, making me feel vaguely normal but today I've taken double the dose I took yesterday and it isn't even touching.

Jane is here, cooking for me. Yay. We've been watching LoTR and I've tried to sleep again... now it's da Simpsons. Yay.
