The Load Average on my server currently shows:
pmsumner:/var/log # w 00:37:14 up 11 days, 23:51, 3 users, load average: 6.01, 5.02, 3.69

All I've asked it to do is install PHP and update Perl. Nothing exciting.

In other news... Jane's gone home. Nice to be alone in a way. Had a good 11 days together. I guess it's a big advantage in having 2 seperate houses - there's always somewhere completely seperate to go. It's just so far away :)

Playing lots of Roller Coaster Tycoon while I wait on YaST actually doing anything - the poor thing is really struggling. It's only an PIII 550. I'm making a profit - yay! :) That's the easy parks - let's try an intermediate park, see if I can do that one (*cough* yeah right).

I've been wondering why nothing worked properly when updating stuff through YaST - looks like SuSE changed the "current" link in the /pub/suse/i386/ directory to point to version 9.2 instead of 9.1 - so of course things didn't work properly any more.

I'm sad I know. I can't believe it's nearly 3am. And I can't believe I'm actually watching "Naked in Westminster", which actually has a LOT less T&A than the name would suggest.

It's taken me a few months since my fatal disk crash but eventually I got Gallery back up and running on my PC - a newer version which looks and acts a lot different. Struggled a bit at first to figure out what was happening but have it sorted now. Only one publically viewable album, unlike before when I didn't realise there were things on there that shouldn't have been before advertising it!

OK, bed.

No fat muffins. Interesting. I thought the whole idea of Muffins was that they were full of grease and all things bad for you? :)

However. I do need eggs. And I can't decide where's best to get them from. Can I be arsed to walk to the nearest shop and get them? It's barely worth driving. It's cold and (occasionally) snowy out. I have little petrol and even less cash. My feet are cold enough as it is. So many reasons for and against. I could always not bother with either and spod some more.

Saying that - I had my first drink of the day just now. I was wondering why I felt so utterly poo and realised I'd not had anything to drink since I got up at about 11. Erk. (You may think I'm a lazy sod but I didn't get to bed and sleep until gone 4:30am). I've been out shopping, bought a bag of veggies, 2 ready meals for work, very little else, spent probably the last of my available cash. (The holiday and the tyres for the car and new shoes and getting Sky in the same month probably a bad idea in retrospect).

My tin, isn't a muffin tin. At least it's not deep enough for what I would call a muffin :)

Oh well. I've always got the Simpsons to keep me amused instead.
