I got a parcel at work today. Finding this odd, i opened it there - it's a disk drive! Presumably MY drive, but nothing in the packet to indicate why they returned it, without the rest of the laptop! I'll call them to find out what they can tell me, i think.

It's the first Friday night in a long time I've not been a: working or b: with Jane. And it feels quite weird. Almost like I know I should be doing something but I'm not.

Anyhow - instead of exciting things like going to the pub, I've tidied, cooked, cleaned. I made bread pudding - which was delicious - thrown out a load of old clothes which were becoming a bit too old and stretched to be decent any more. I've cleaned the kitchen from top to bottom (or from side to side). I've made a differential backup of mainpc, sorted out backup DNS for philsumner.co.uk and I'm ready to go.

I'm running out of things to be productive with. Oh, I needed to cancel my ebay auction due to me being an idiot, but it's within the last 12hrs and you can't cancel them! I'm having to wait until it ends and cancel any bids on it... *sigh*

Might go read in the bath....

I called and they said "there's a note here mentioning something about delivery". Hmm, OK? Said they can't find anything more until Tuesday (damned bank holidays causing everything to shut except T-Mob) so if I don't get anything delivered on Tuesday, to call up and find out for certain.

Weird. You'd think they'd know :)
