3 jobs in Bradford today for a gambling shop. Did quite well! Placed 3 bets (all of them "each way"), and won outright (1st place) on two of them, shoulda won one the 3rd I think (my dog came in 3rd) but I don't know the rules well enough to argue my point. Besides - it's not my money :)

Anyhoo, I took out £20 cash, had £5 in my pocket, and came home with just over £35 after placing 3 bets! Nice one. I can understand how addictive gambling could be *G*

No apparent reason. For some reason Jane came back to mine, which has made it harder to transition from "us time" to "me time". Normally I'd see the journey home (or the leaving of a Jane) as the transition but not having that really makes it tough for me.

I'm also tired, so sleep will be soon. Try to fix my radio maybe (my cassette/radio/cd combi stopped working randomly the other day, it'd been on through the night on Radio 4 and when I woke up I heard it click and pop a couple of times, and there's now no more sound. It all operates and makes noises, but the sound doesn't come) and we should have late night comedy if I remember rightly.

My throat is on and off better. Randomly it'll hurt like hell for a while, then be fine. I'll go to work tomorrow but ensure that I take it easy as pie :) I really fancy the day off though!

Can you tell I should be in bed?
