My wireless network is not doing what it should.
I've noticed more frequently recently, I'm seeing times where I don't get connectivity between my laptop and the base station. It still claims to be connected but pinging the router shows occasional periods of timeouts.

Tried everything I can think of to resolve it. It only started (or I only noticed it) when I installed a fix/update to prevent crashes on certain events with the Intel wireless drivers. Don't want to uninstall these because well... which is worse? Crashing or timeouts? Both are just as frustrating...

To prove it was the drivers, dug out my old DWL-G122 and used that for over an hour successfully. Hence I now know that the problem laid with the internal WiFi card/drivers. Complete driver uninstall, roll back to version 8.x. Oddly enough, everything now works fine. Hurrah.

Oh, new Goldfrapp album due out in late August. Titled "Supernature", first single from it will be called "Ooh La La" and released early August. In homage to the gorgeous Alison... I have a new Goldfrapp wallpaper. Will post somewhere as well... phwoar :)
