Six songs:
The Kaiser Chiefs Album - the whole thing. So bouncy, good pop. Choose a song? I Predict a Riot (Watching the people get lairy / Is not very pretty I tell thee / Walking through town is quite scary / not very sensible either) probably tops the bill. It could have been written about anywhere, but as they're Yorkshire lads (Leeds), it strikes a note as the area's scary on a Saturday night!
A track I only heard last night: Fat Freddy's Drop - 'Roady'. I wanna find it and buy it and play it more and more and more. [Edit: Yay! Found it on Gnutella :)]
Gorillaz - 'DARE' - I haven't heard a single Gorillaz track that I dislike. The new single with Shaun Ryder is fab, even if the video is really quite disturbing (and pointless?).
Goldfrapp - Ooh La La. I'm in two minds about this song. I feel it's a commercialisation of Goldfrapp, their previous album "Black Cherry" wasn't an easy album to listen to, very different from anything else around. Ooh La La is very much poppy in comparison. I've still bought it, but haven't listened to it because I want to see them succeed and well, I hear it enough on Radio 1 (it's A-list so gets played every 3-4hrs or so). I've listened to the snippets of the rest of the album on their website, and I think the rest of the tracks will be more what I'm looking for...
A surprise: Lee Ryan - Army of Lovers. It's nice. Enough said.
One that annoys me that I like: Bodyrockers - I Like the Way. It's on whenever I go to the gym and I can't seem to escape it. I think by saturation it's wormed it's way into my mind.
