Games Workshop (no paperwork!), O2 Retail, Train Ticket purchase. Probably could have stayed overnight at Jane's but I really don't want to battle with the traffic on the M56/M60 again when I got home tonight in 1hr 40mins, as compared to over 3hrs when leaving in the morning, and 2hrs most other days.
Oh, must deposit cheque from Storecheckers. Wish they paid by BACS, would be so much easier! Now the choice of which bank account to deposit it in looms... best bet is A&L first, so I meet my min deposit for the month, then transfer it to Cahoot credit card which has already had a lot thrown at it so there's no rush.
I'm sorry, I'm talking to myself again.
Good day out at Llangollen (go on, YOU try and pronounce it first time you ever knew the place existed then) Balloon Festival. The place was a little quiet - was a little disappointing in the stalls and traders there, but the shows they had on were fun. The "Over the Top" bike/quad/stunt team were really impressive. The morris dancers were fab, the doughnuts were nice. The balloons didn't fly in the evening (the upper atmosphere was too turbulent, apparently) but they did get two of them inflated and tethered, going up some and then down some.
I concluded after watching them play around for a while, that hot air ballooning is a rich-boy's plaything. A very rich-boy only thing. At £100,000 for a balloony thingy (envelope? I can't remember...) alone, excluding the crew needed to recover you, the gas needed, the basket, the maintenance, getting to launches......
Watched half of Pirates of the Caribbean before it got to 10:15, and decided it would be a good idea to go before it got so late I couldn't persuade myself to leave.
Currently in pain. I appear to have a wisdom tooth coming through, and my lord it hurts. Has done since Saturday afternoon... I'm trying to ignore it for now, if it goes on for more than a few days I'll get to the dentist and beg for help.
