I am a really happy man right now. I had a phone interview with Paul from Audible.co.uk tonight, and he seemed to really like me, saying that I came across as friendly, chatty and fun on the phone, and whilst he was talking about when he'd make the decision to do a real interview, I cheekily mentioned that I'd be in London from the 27th to 31st. He sounded pleased with this and arranged an interview for the 28th then and there!

How pleased am I?

For I am exhausted.

I parked up after leaving work - mobile mechanic sorted car in about 20minutes. Parked up in a car park and waited for the phone call. He started off by asking the obvious - what is your current role, what do you understand the role to be about, what attracted you to this role, so on.

We talked about quite a lot of stuff, ranging from what I expect from the position, to how I found my current position. It's a small team of 3 people, one has left and they want to recruit quickly. It'd be providing general customer support to Audible.co.uk customers.

I'm too tired to whitter more. I'm generally very excited by this. He told me that out of the people he'd called so far, one sounded like he'd just woken them up, another had obviously applied for lots of jobs and didn't have a clue about the company, and another... he didn't sound interested.

I might be in with a good chance if I don't screw it up.
