Apparently a jump start from a Ford Ka isn't worth the effort (according to Mr RAC) :)

So, one proper jump start later, and I am at work, and will be taking the car to Kwik Fit in Warrington at lunchtime for a new battery. I should have done this the first time it happened (but I forgot).

• 07:38 RAC will get here between "Now and 9am". Huh. #
• 09:05 Yay, just a flat battery. I was really really really worried it was going to be something else after the jump start with Jane's Ka failed #
• 14:57 New battery obtained. See car, I DO LOVE YOU! #
• 23:08 I feel like I have a cold but am refusing to admit that I might possibly have one. #
