I suppose in the past few weeks nothing particularly exciting has been happening. Or more to the point, nothing I want to write about has been happening! I'm so far behind on writing about Granddad's funeral that I don't even think it is worthwhile writing about.

The only comment I want to make is that I haven't seen a large number of my family (at least the cousins) for 15yrs, and the last time would have been my Grandma's funeral. We are not a close family! I've added a number of them to my Facebook account in an attempt to be better at keeping up, which I may or may not regret!

We've started rehearsals for the next show, which is The Secret Garden. Not knowing the music, I didn't feel too enthusiastic at first, but it's growing. Most of the music is beautiful, and it's looking to be much more fun than I expected. I'm probably going to audition for the lead part, despite not expecting to get it - I want to do those songs, the audition songs for the second male part aren't as much fun! Besides, Mark needs the competition :)

Ohhhh, and ruthytoothy and albatros are visiting us this weekend. No idea when yet, but they're-a-coming :)

Jane posted on her LJ today about La Cage Aux Folles. John Barrowman is taking over the lead role in September. Eeeep. And I thought Graham Norton was the campest person that could possibly take the role! JB's going to camp it up even more.
