I bought myself a TV tuner PCMCIA card so we could look at recording/watching TV on the PC. It was only a tenner, so I thought "bonus!". The thing didn't fit in my PC at all, so tried it in Jane's and it seemed to click in like a card should do!
I was able to install the device drivers without too much difficulty - though finding Win7/Vista drivers for it was a bit of a pain.
It was only after about an hour, that I discovered the difference between CardBus and ExpressCard... i.e. that they are completely different, and although you can get CardBus->ExpressCard adapters, they're about £50 quid and I may as well just have bought the damn USB DVBT receiver in the first place.
Must take a trip to Maplin to return that then.
Silly me.
