Whilst I am (and was) far from drunk, I am fairly sure that if the cops had decided for any reason to pull me over, I would now be facing a DD charge. I normally say that if I'm drinking any more than a pint, that I won't touch the car, but I felt so shitty I jusyt couldn't handle another moment tonight.
No offence to anyone there, but Hotshots? It sucks. (and blows?) Shopulda guessed from the name, I suppose. Bowling is all very well and good, but I am yet to be convinced that anywhere can combine a bowling alley and decent pub/club with a DJ in a good way. Which is a shame, because it could be lots of fun. In general, the bowling is alright, but the music tends to be too loud, too shite and the sound systems too dodgy to be enjoyable.
I had an interesting conversation with Billy outside, when he went to find his car. Not sure how much I agree with him, even now, having thought about it. But it was interesting to see that he felt the same way I did about 'the group'. Nothing like that... just that we're both of the opinion that nobody can ever claim to know either of us in anything but the most cursory fashion. And heck - just because we spent time together through a course doesn't mean anything.
On the other hand, this doesn't mean I don't like or want to spend time with people, just that I don't want people to assume that things are all buddy buddy (not that I do anyhow).
I have a headache. I have a mug of hot water. Ouch. I am going to bed. Ouch.'
