Went to Waterstones to see if I could get "Heat Wave", a book reviewed in this week's New Scientist. Something about a heatwave in Chicago a few years back, and how it affected people and the world. Not out until Aug 30th, bastards. So I went to HMV instead and bought "Mali Music" (Afel Bocoum, Damon Albarn, Toumani Diabaté and Friends), Damon Albarn got a load of Malian artists together, and there's some good shit on here.

Tempted by the Simpsons Series 1&2 DVDs, but I decided there was no justification in paying £35 for what I already have, but with a few knobs and bells on it.

I have 35 comments that I should really reply to, or at least delete from my "lj_comments" folder. I also have a pile of ironing 6 feet high. Which is most important? :)
Music:: Mali Music - The Djembe
Mood:: 'sore' sore
