I am now the proud owner of a webcam-cum-digital-camera. When I am online, I will be able to show you all my gorgeous face at my CUS page, which will update every 10 seconds or a server which runs on my computer, and is streaming video . No sound, because well - sound from me would just suck :)
I will get round to replying to the comments that are stacking up, sometime soon.
Honest.
Yep, went into the Gadget Shop today and they had two tiny digicams retailing at £40 each, and I just couldn't say no. I've been after a camera I can actually take out with me for ages - my current one's alright but too large to be that useful, this one is about an inch and a half square, so is perfect. And it stores 100 640*480 images. Brill. No preview though, but I'll live.
Phil, t432 :-)
Update: Excuse me, I forgot I changed the port number to 8080 to prevent a clash with IIS. Fixed.
