How can you fail to chill when you have this music on? I love the Division Bell. I love it much more than any of Floyd's earlier stuff. Probably because I "grew up" with this, and was only introduced to the earlier stuff later on. I still can't believe I "donated" my copy of "The Wall" on vinyl. What a dope. Just because I didn't have space for my record player.
I spent today at work, planning my overtime for the upcoming week or two, as it has been so quiet. I have 10hrs booked this week, just waiting for the slots next week to be announced. Tomorrow I'm going in for 2hrs in the evening - hopefully after my washing machine has been delivered (6pm - 8pm), Tuesday for 3hrs in the afternoon (2pm - 5pm), adn on Saturday for 6hrs (12midday - 6pm). Just think - it's an extra £60 in the bank...
I mentioned it being quiet? You know, after I complained last week about the call volumes being endless, today we've barely had any through at all. Was spending 10 minutes between calls, reading paper, reading Messenger (internal intranet), playing silly games... between 6pm and 8pm it went off a little, but otherwise, easy street! Especially when they took Excalibur (Customer Relationship Management / Advisor-Network Interface software) offline from 2015! Whoo! I think I took 7 calls between 2015 and 2215. Heh.
Washing machine, tomorrow. I have to make sure that either I take a cheque to Glen's tmrw, or get cash, as they want payment on delivery, which I think sucks. I'd much rather set up a standing order/direct debit to pay. Have to be careful, as I am fairly skint, already transferred some cash from my little savings account this month. I've only been putting £25 a month away for 2 months, and I've nabbed half of it already!
