I accept that I have now run out of beer, though this is a bad thing. This means that I feel that I might be slipping into the old stoodent routine. You know how easy it is. You think "oh, home alone, nothing better to do - why not have a drink?" and then when the fridge is empty you wonder:
  1. why (this is by far the most important quiestion)
  2. where the next drink comes from
  3. how you managed to drink a 12 pack in 2 nights

Anyhows.
It is a disappointment, but I shall survive. I have an early morning tommorrow. After a weekend off with late nights and late starts (2 days of o/t - worked 12midday->6pm both days over the weekend) I start again at am tommorrow. Ouch. Remind me NEVER to volunteer to work this shift pattern every again.

I've volunteered to do a 10hr day on Christmas, 5 on boxing day, and a 10 on New Year's Day. All of these are at least double time, some triple. People think I may be mad, but I don't place much stock in Christmas and New Year as a celebration. Plus we're rostered off for some extra days between Christmas and New Year, so I can cope... means I can buy Christmas pressies in the sales *G*

Sleep. Beer+Phil = sleepyPhil. Which was partly the purpose of tonight. Drink + Sleep.
Missing the baseball finals. Sucky crappy shiftwork.
