Not that long ago, OK...

I just ordered a polo shirt (oooooo). http://www.livejournal.com/store/ for more info. £20-or-so for a polo shirt and supporting something worthwhile? Why not?

Nothing to report really. My hoover never showed up. Martin Wiltshire claims it was sent and gave me a receipt number, but it wasn't sent recorded delivery, just regular post, so nothing really can be done about it. Still badgering him to try and get my money back, but unsure whether he's going to do it or not.

Got an email today from powergen (See http://www.livejournal.com/users/phil99/283202.html for history) asking me for my Meter's serial number. This means that there is progress, though it is going slowly. I must also point out that Scottish Power sent me a reminder bill (to be frank, it has been well over the 14 extra days they originally said they would give me, so I don't begrudge them this) and have given me an extra 14 days to sort things out.

*sigh* Remind me never to do this again, eh?

Other news?
Not really. Got my hair cut (at last) so I no longer look like a hippy :) Lots of stuff is changing at work, most of it for good, lots of it not so good, though. The bonus situation still sucks, they've changed from personal to directorate based bonuses (i.e. - everyone in customer services gets the same amount), and now our personal AND coporate bonuses are based on the same figures. "Customer Satisfaction" and "First Call Resolution", both of these based on results from call backs done by an outsourcing company.

Uhhm.

Nothing else, honest.
