This is one of my web annoyances. I use a web browser which allows me to have multiple tabs in one window - hence when I find a web page which forces the browser to open a seperate window, this is a waste of my time and valuable screen real esatate. If I wanted to open the page in another window, I would have clicked on it with the middle mouse button to open a new tab.

The same applies with IE when I use it. If I want a new window, I will shift-click it. I refuse to allow the web browser's behaviour on my computer to be dictated by someone who knows nothing about my computer and how I like to browse. And this is not something that can be overriden in any browser I know.
