1.What is the best thing about you?
Open mindedness and not really giving a toss about other people and what they think of what I think they think :)
2.Which bit of your character would you most like to change?
The one that sits there and says "That's good enough." or "You can do it later."
3. If I had one pound what would I do with it?
Spend it on something I really didn't need.
4. Describe something that makes you angry.
Ignorance, people who don't read instruction manuals and then ask for help, people who don't think for themselves and expect someone else to do it for them, people who won't listen and won't accept an answer given to them, people who question authority when there's no good reason to.
You notice, that all involves people. Maybe I should just say "People".
5. What is your favourite smell
Don't have one. Have an appalling sense of smell. I tend to have "feelings" more than "smells" and it's only really strong stuff like perfume (and cut grass / manure) that I can actually really smell. Oh, and curry :)
6. Other than music what is your favourite sound
Water. Water water everywhere. Rain, rivers, the sea, a bath, a shower, but most of all the sound and feel of rain when it's really coming down. Not the half-drizzle-half-smog state we spend half our lives in here.
7. What is your favourite word
Don't have a favourite word. And if I did I probably couldn't remember it anyway :)
8. If you woke from an uneasy dream and found yourself transformed into something - what would you be?
What?
Much as I don't like to answer survey questions like this, why would I awake from any dream as an animal? And if I were to do so, why should I know beforehand?
9. what things make you worry
Money. Boredom. My own sanity :)
10. What talent or skill would you most like? What first step would you take to acquire this ability?
I'd like to develop my piano - but I'd need a piano for that :)
11 what is the first thing you see when you wake up in the morning
Very little - it tends to be quite blurry.
I couldn't tell you, I don't think I can remember the first half hour of any day I've been awake.
12 what is the first thing you would rather see first thing in the morning
Someone there with a nice warm body to sap the warmth out of *s*
13. What can you see from your bedroom window
"Lynedoch Towers" :)
That's my affectionate name for the two high rises over the street from me. If it weren't for them, I would have a stunning view over the Clyde. As it is, I can see into about 30 people's living rooms and kitchens. They all live very boring lives, none of them have lights on past 11pm, ever.
14. What is the second thing you hear in the morning
Depends - either my alarm clock going off for the second time or myself, screaming because I've slept in yet again.
15 What living thing would you least like to find under your bed
Anything! I really don't want to find living stuff under my bed.
16 What Character from a story would you most like to meet and why?
Thingie, from 1984. Winston. I think that would be a fascinating character to chat with. Either him or the central character from Maya (whose name I have forgotten - book by Jostein Gaarder) who spends the entire book wrestling with consciousness, God, life, death, the meaning of all these and then his reluctance to die - not from a fear of death but from a passionate desire to keep on living.
17 what film would you most like to have acted in and why?
None really, I ain't got much of a desire to act. It would have to be something low budget if I were to do it.
18 what part of adult life are you most looking forward to?
Pass.
19 what part of adult life are you least looking forward too
Retiring.

I don't have "mealtimes" - I eat whenever a:) I can be arsed and b:) when I am hungry. quite often these two times do not intersect.
24 when have you felt proudest of yourself?
Having Teleca offer me a job with them.
25 what three objects would you take to a desert island to remind you of your home and family?
I don't think I would take much to remind me of that. I'd rather exchange them for something useful? :)
I don't have much that I would say "reminds me of my family". Most of my stuff is my own, practical hand me downs (furniture and stuff like that), or from friends.
