It's been a week now since I deposited that cheque and has it turned up yet? Has it hell. Even PayPal have managed to get their act together quicker, and I've received the payment from the sale of my camera. That has helped but I am _still_ over my overdraught limit and the bank are STILL charging me for every transaction that goes through despite it being their fuckwittedness that caused the problem in the first place.

I've had to post the items today, I've stalled all I could, waiting for cash to pay with. I paid with cheques, in the process confusing myself and putting the wrong things in the wrong boxes and having to mess around at the post office. I think I eventually sent the right thing to the right person. I hope! But the bank will still try to charge me for both those cheques paid out.

What pisses me off most of all? I don't have a weekday off for the next week and the bank is a good hour's drive away, meaning that doing it in the mornings before work isn't quite practical unless I leave at 7:30am (rush hour traffic and all), which I can't do because I've got no money for petrol and the trains are ridiculously expensive at that time of day. GRAH! I am going to beg with Darren to try and get tomorrow off, as this needs fixing once and for all, and if it comes to it I will camp out in the bank overnight and all weekend.
