I seem to be going through gas at an unnatural rate. I've turned down the pilot light to it's minimum setting and have really cut back the heating to evenings only. It's too cold to keep it off right now. Bloody freezing, in fact. When I thought to check just now, I found I had 68p of credit! eep. I wonder if anyone out there has any idea how hard it is to find somewhere that "does" these gas top ups after 7pm round here? It's bloody impossible. I was out for nearly an hour, driving and stopping everywhere I could see a light on.

Am going to keep a close eye on the meter over the next few days to make sure I ain't getting conned, and will call Scottish Power tomorrow to find out exactly how much they are charging me, because I still don't know. I'm frustrated by their Cust Serv. Opening hours of 8am-7pm are no use to me, as I invariably don't have time in the mornings (as I'm crap at mornings) and won't get home until 7pm, or just before.

I am really frustrated by it. Who would have thought such simple things as gas and electricity could cause one so much stress?
