pmsumner at 11:24am on 02/02/2004Went out to treat Jane to a Chinese the other night in Halifax. Got to the place and saw the sign on the window saying "Cash or cheque only". Went to the cash machine, stuck in my card, PIN, amount, and it said "Now giving you your money - please take your card".
Only problem being, that it didn't spit my card out. Eek. Tried to grab it as it was obviously trying to give me my card back, but it just couldn't manage it somehow. In the end it swallowed it, sigh.
I was not impressed.
Called up Barclays and got them to send me a new one. A WEEK, they said.
Anyhow.
Yes... I have to get clean then go shopping.
