The film, Closer. Well worth watching. Very much a character film. I thought the similarities between it and Lost in Translation were many and easily made. Both films about relationships, both have lots happening yet at the same time, nothing happens in the traditional sense of Hollywood films.

It felt very long, despite being only 2hrs including the trailers and adverts. That's not to say it was boring - there were a few moments I looked around and wondered how long was left, but it held my attention very well.

It's a story of two things: The start of relationships and the end of relationships. Focussing primarily on the lives of Alice (Natalie Portman), Dan (Jude Law), Anna (Julia Roberts) and Larry (Clive Owen). Both couples meet and then... well... you see a small glimpse of their relationships but then you're fired two years into the future and you see the endings. Painful endings. This film shows you how you should try to avoid ending a relationship ;-)

Well worth watching, you get to see Natalie Portman wearing very little, and Jude Law looking extremely pretty.
