pmsumner at 03:43pm on 16/05/2005 under mystery shoppingI was just doing my job for Optimum, and I'd parked up, being told the interview would last about an hour I put an hour's parking on.
When I get back to the car nearly about an hour and a half later, I find the damn warden issuing me a ticket. I explain and say "I was at an interview which lasted longer than expected" she says "Once I've started writing the ticket I can't stop". I offer to pay for the excess parking there and then but she just repeats the same thing again.
WTF is that excuse? Of course they can stop if they want.
*sigh* So, a £50 ticket (£40 if paid within 28days apparently, whoohoo), a £47.50 fee for the job. Hardly bloody worth it.
