pmsumner at 01:29am on 04/06/2001I would like to note, that I learnt that Kate's grandfather died today. He has been sick for several weeks now, suffering from several problems which have put him and his family through great pain.
Having met the man last Christmas while he was healthy, it still makes me sad to think of him as I last heard him described - unable to care for himself - but I cannot help but be glad that he has eventualy passed away - onto better times, better places, and (dependant on your belief), a new life.
I wish his family well. I will be speaking to you as soon as I can. Much love goes out to you all, Phil.
