I got bored of the World Service (well - who wouldn't?) and switched to Radio 2 (it was a choice of Real Radio, Radio 1 or Classic FM... Radio 2 was playing something interesting). Anyhow, the point of what I was saying...
I'm very glad to see Mr James Blunt doing so well! Some of you who pay particular interest may remember that Jane and I went to see the gorgeous Katie Melua perform at the Lowry last year sometime, and Mr Blunt was her support act. We both loved him, and have been closely following his career since. I was astonished to see him at Glastonbury on the BBC's coverage doing a spot for them. I assume he was on one of the stages there too, but must have missed that.
So hurrah for successful new musicians.
